Today is Saturday. On Monday, Scottish drivers on the main route between our two major cities – the busiest road in the country – were stuck in their cars for up to twenty hours because of the snow. Yet today, the snow is melting more rapidly than I would ever have expected.
Early on in the snowfall, the kids cleared some away to make a fortress. They left the wheelbarrow in the middle of the circle. As the snow continued to fall, the barrow became pretty much invisible.
Today, the fortress is revealed, and the wheelbarrow is pretty much full of meltwater.
But tonight, the forecast is for freezing temperatures. Let’s see what that brings!
