This is the road and pavement under a railway bridge at Laurieston, on the eastern side of Falkirk. Something about it reminds me of the episode of Star Trek where Sulu refuses to change the Enterprise’s course, because he hallucinates that there are daggers that will destroy the ship if it turns by so much as a hair.

So… would you risk walking along the pavement?
