It was a beautiful morning. We got up early and were among the first going up the gondola to ski from the top of the hill.

There, we noticed a phenomenon we had seen before – we were above the clouds that cloaked the valley floor, and and from this range those clouds looked like a smooth, distant sea.

A great day of skiing, followed by a charity family pub quiz in the hotel… for which we stayed awake almost to the end!
