This is the car wash at Grangemouth Asda.

Why does someone feel the need to tell me that it is operating legally?

Going to the home page of ARC, the company that operates the car wash (here), it appears that they are having a dig at their competitors. Apparently some of the competition doesn’t dispose of chemicals legally, nor are the checks on the work permits of staff always properly carried out (see the BBC news report here).

So… I can understand why they want to advertise their legality, but I have to admit that any time I see someone proclaiming "I’m legal", I always think "Aye, right…"
