This little flower is in a hanging basket outside our front door. The length from the tip of one clour slash to the one opposite is about 15mm, so the little green thing sticking out front is about 1mm across.
Given that this was taken outdoors, without a tripod and in a 25mph wind, it was a remarkably lucky shot!
I took this with the 350D’s kit lens, plus a magnifying filter that I bought from eBay. There was a kit of four of these little filters for just under £10 – a cracking bargain!
