I saw the pit bing as I was driving past, and wondered if it might have some promise as a photo of the day. So I pulled the car in to the side of the road, and went out to shoot some pictures.

But as I approached the gate, this large cow came up to me. I don’t think she was keen on my taking photos of the coal mine. I think she was some form of cow-bounder… I like to think that the term should be "cowncer".

I tried to explain to her that I was on public land, and had a right to take pictures, but she just didn’t seem to take it in…

Anyway, I sneaked a couple of photographs… just don’t tell her!
