So… that’s the Project 365 over. I started a year ago with a foggy picture of the Forth Bridges, a location that I came back to many times throughout the project.
Over the course of a year, I tried to take and post some kind of interesting picture each day. And a busy year it was too… a couple of nice holidays, my daughter starting high school and my son doing really well at golf, replacing my car with one that didn’t leak oil everywhere, a couple of trips to the US and more journeys to and from Stevenage than I can count!
Over the course of the project I have learned a lot. Like the journalist whose training requires him to be able to write a couple of thousand words on anything, so I have learned that there are photos to be found everywhere you look. I have learned a lot of technique too, understanding how to get the best – or at least something good – out of every camera I’ve used. But more than that, I have learned to look much more closely at everything I see around me.
Thank you to everyone who has commented on the pictures, it’s been great to see the things that everybody has enjoyed looking at!
Most of all, thank you to my kids and especially my wife Marie for all their support throughout the year. Love you!
