Somewhere inside this scaffolding is Duntarvie Castle.

Built in the 1500s, the castle has an interesting recent history. It was bought by Geoffrey Nicholsby, an Edinburgh kilt maker who spent over twenty years fighting beauraucracy to turn the castle into a corporate centre. He retired from business, gave up and sold the castle on… and the new owners are clearly continuing the process of refurbishment.

It is seriously a LOT of scaffolding!
