The bales of hay, gathered a few weeks ago, have now been moved to the edge of the field… I wonder if they are going to be moved somewhere soon?

Modern digital cameras are capable of rendering wonderfully sharp photographs with vibrant colour, so it is inevitable that fashions tend towards a slightly desaturated look… this is a look I have tried to employ in this picture. I’m not entirely sure that I like it, but it does give a slightly different tone to the picture, possibly increasing the autumnal feel… Hmm, not sure.
