Today we had hurricane-force winds in Scotland, an event sufficiently unusual and inconvenient in its timing (the worst of the wind struck at school finishing time) that the Met Office issued a "Red Alert" warning.

The Scots showed their disdain for "a wee bit o’ wind" by naming it Hurricane Bawbag. It even has its own Wikipedia page… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Bawbag
