2016-02-23 (Day 054) Stirling

Not gonna lie, I think this is going to shape up to be one of my favourites of the year.

This is the city of Stirling, with Stirling Castle stitting at the top of the hill. Strategically vital for centuries because it controlled the lowest crossing point of the River Forth, Stirling has been central to Scotland’s history since the 12th (when it was granted a Royal Charter) and even before.

Behind it three snow-coverde peaks that I’ve not been able to identify. I’m guessing that one is Ledi, but the other two?

The view takes my mind off the fact that I was there to visit the dentist, and I will be having a couple of fillings in my near future…
