Grangemouth was flaring tonight!

This is the view looking northwards, towards Grangemouth, on the A801. The little footbridge you can see is one I use on a running route I occasionally use.

The refinery is not as close as it looks here – it’s over two miles away. But a slight mist in the air really does emphasise the brightness of the flare – which was much stronger than it usually runs!
