May I introduce the newest member of the family, the Syrian hamster Alfred!

Alfred joined us today from distant Linlithgow, where he had been resident in a local pet shop for just under half an hour. He has had a good wander around his new home, finding safe quiet spots to hide in when he wants to sleep.

So far, so good!
