Canmore Brickworks closed in 1983, and today the site lies abandoned and apparently unused. Ruined buildings punctuate the scene, along with htis remarkably intact chimney.

I wonder who owns this site now? Is it for sale? How do you find these things out (not that I’m suggesting I have a use for a brickworks, but it would be good to know).

Unexpectedly, when I googled to find out some information about the site, the second hit was on “www.cruisinggays.com”. Maybe the brickworks isn’t as abandoned as it looks.
