I was privileged to photograph Edinburgh Music Theatre’s prodction of Fiddler On The Roof this evening, and a fantastic show it was too.
Many years ago at theatre Summer School I watched a masterclass given by Ray Jeffries on how to sing and act the railway station scene from this show. I wept like a baby during that masterclass, and I was even worse tonight. The singing, acting – the completely committed performances from EMT’s cast were simply wonderful.
Truly a tremendous show, if you can be in Edinburgh this week then go. It was a great show from beginning to end. I loved it.
