Britain’s newest aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth II, squeezed out of dock at Rosyth today, with significant media hoopla about its maiden journey.
I thought I would go along and photograph its departure. Turns out I wasn’t the only one.
The entire area around South Queensferry was blocked by traffic, and I ended up squeezing into a single track road along with many, many other vehicles – way more than should have been there!
Anyway, I got in, I took my photo and I got out again without damage to me or the car… so that can’t be bad!
