"No-one…. fights like Gaston, Douses lights like Gaston…"

Two shows today – a matinee in the afternoon and the evening show.

This is the pub scene where LeFou tries to cheer up Gaston.

During this matinee I noticed the lighting of this scene from the wings. Normally I don’t like shots from the wings, but the way that the lights from the side caught the profiles of the performers really made me want to get this shot in the evening. The huge costume I was wearing didn’t exactly make it easy to get the picture (though it looked fantastic!), but I got the shot in the end.
