The local excitement for the past week or so has been the fact that Brad Pitt was coming to town. A major movie, "World War Z", was being filmed, with scenes in Glasgow’s George Square and Grangemouth’s oil refinery.
I didn’t get to see any of the action, but today there was still some evidence of the weekend’s filming… a couple of American-style roadsigns and – somewhat bizarrely – a collection of concrete cows.
No, I don’t know why. Time alone will tell…
Anyway, when I got the shot home I thought that the scene looked distinctly 1950s… so I tried to give it a treatment to match.
