This is the Grange Burn in Grangemouth, a waterway that has been channelled and mastered by man, and converted into a tame, straight stream heading towards the open water.

The photograph was taken as dusk was falling, as evidenced by the light trails from passing cars on the right hand side.

I always think that this is a really pretty area in a town not renowned for its beauty.
