2014-05-03 (Day 123) Glasgow City Chambers

Today I was in Glasgow, rehearsing for an event associated with the Commonwealth Games. We spent most of our time in George Square, but spent some time in the City Chambers…I don’t think I had been in the City Chambers before. Built at the height of Glasgow’s trading wealth, it is a magnificent Victorian building, and the centrepiece is the astonishing marble staircase. Reputedly one of the largest such structures in the world, I was kicking myself for not having an SLR with me… this, from my little point-and-shoot, is the best I could manage..PS – that’s us 1/3 of the way through the year already!
