For the past few days our weather forecasters have been warning us of terrible snow, and I was somewhat worried about whether Jenni really should be going to the ice rink today.
As I arrived I was convinced that my misgivings had been well placed. The snow was falling, but was moving more like horizontally than vertically thanks to a brisk wind.
After her skating session, however, we came out to find the weather had changed – no precipitation and no wind!
Which made the journey home rather more relaxed than it might otherwise have been.
