2017-05-14 (Day 134) Drumpellier Loch

This is Drumpellier Loch, the largest of seven lochs in the Drumpellier Country Park, near Coatbridge. It was the backdrop for part of the route of the Monklands Half Marathon, in which I ran today.

The weather forecast for the half was that it was going to be fairly cool, but that promise was not met. It was really, really warm and I ended up sweating buckets as I ran. In the end the heat was a bit too much for me and I ended up having to jog/walk a few times over the last mile – but I still got in in 1:50:25, so I’m not too upset.
