This one was a little weird. It was late at night, it was pretty dark out. The streetlights were on, but the sky beyond was pitch black. The stars were twinkling, and in the middle of it all there was the pour trail of an aircraft that had recently overflown us.

So I wondered what night mode on my phone would make of it – and I was pretty amazed by the results. It made the scene look like daylight, though with some unexpected stars that you don’t normally see in the noon day sun.

It’s quite remarkable what this night mode can do!
