Tess is pretty much black from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail (although there does seem to be some grey creeping in). So when I took this photo of her today I was surprised to see a little bit of pink… Looks as if she is licking her lips at the prospect of eating that heather there.

Honestly, Tess, I wouldn’t do that. You know what dogs do to pavement-side flowers, don’t you?
