Given that I am supposed to be doing a triathlon in April, I thought it might be a good idea to check that my bike was still operable, and so today I cycled down to the canal and went for a wee run along to the aqueduct and back. I am pleased to say that it worked.

This mooring ring is on the Union Canal just west of the Avon Aqueduct, which carries the canal high above the River Avon. I just liked the shape!
