The Lyric Club were kind enough to invite me to photograph their show, Half A Sixpence, at the Glasgow King’s Theatre.

I went along a little nervously. It’s never been a show I rated terribly highly. But the Lyric Club put on such a good performance I found that I was really enjoying it, which surprised me no end.

Only the best of Glasgow amateur societies get to perform at the King’s these days, and the Lyric are certainly in that goup. The club a very strong cast and chorus, and I would recommend the show as a great night out. More information from the box office on 0141 240 1111.
