This is the spine of a "Black ‘n’ Red" notebook. The picture was taken with stacked +10 and +4 magnifying filters (by a Chinese compant called Neewer).

I have no idea whether that makes +14 or +40; in either case it’s a lot of magnification – the picture isn’t cropped.

The quality of the filters isn’t on a par with what you would get from Canon or Nikon, but nor is the price – a set of four filters of varying powers cost under a tenner!
