It’s that first word that’s the tricky one. Or the first run, or the first time you try skiing… just the frist time.

I have a plan. When I write my novel I’m going to start with the second word of the book. Or the secnod sentence. That way I’ll be ready for it when the time comes to write that overpoweringly scary first word.
