Funny old morning this morning.

I got out the house really early and drove off to work. Just as I approached the junction where I would leave the motorway, the Diesel Particulate Filter warning light came on. When that happens you have to drive at high engine revs until it goes off again, otherwise you apparently risk damage to the engine.

So, I drove at 60mph in third gear, just below the red line, for the next thirty minutes or so until the light went out.

That’s the third time that light has come on. Once at around 80,000 miles, once at just over 100,000 and now at about 109,000. I don’t like the trend…

Anyway, I snapped this as I got back near the office, this time with the warning light not showing.
