2011-07-13 (Day 320) Inchcolm Island

Inchcolm island sits in the Forth Estuary, a few miles east (downstream) of the Forth Rail Bridge. It houses a famous Augustinian Abbey, and was fortified to help defend Edinburgh during each World War. For more information about Inchcolm, you might want to try en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inchcolm

As for the photo, this was me going out before rehearsal on Wednesday trying to come up with something a little different to shoot. This viewpoint is on the A921 coast road, between Aberdour and Burntisland. The 350D and Sigma 18-200mm once again showed me that if I hold the dratted lens properly, it can take very sharp pictures!
