I took part in the Falkirk Parkrun today. The Parkrun… well, "movement" I guess… is a collection of short (5km), timed, free-to-enter runs in parks across the UK (http://www.parkrun.org.uk). So I had a lovely run, and then went back to the car to get on with my Saturday.

As I did so, I couldn’t help but notice this wonderfully ominous, threatening sky just behind the flats, which were still being illuminated by bright sunhine.

To my surprise, there was no apocalyptic rain shower, no flash-floods and no torrential downpour… but at least the sky looked ready to deliver one if it was called for!
