This was a little experiment taken from the wings using the Sony NEX-5. I have to say that I am very pleased by its noise performance. This is shot at ISO 6400, and gives results that are no worse than my Canon 350D at ISO 1600!
This scene is from Act Two – I think it is part of a number called "The Deal" that is in many ways where the bulk of the exposition happens in the second act. We see the Russian Chess champion comforting Florence (his lover and second, who in Act One was… no, it’s just too complex!)
