The course I was doing at the NODA Summer School was Musical Theatre in Performance. The classroom for this was in the University of Warwick sports centre – and given how much we all sweated during the week, that was probably quite appropriate.

As the week progressed, the weather got better and better, and our walk to the sports centre became more pleasant. We passed this lake every time; taking in the features on the way to rehearsal and struggling past, oblivious, on the way back!

The lake was host to a large number of geese, some of which you can see in the picture. The path beside the lake was cleaned every day by University of Warwick staff, but I still managed to learn that goose poo is green…
