Here’s something you won’t see in Blighty – a Microsoft shop!

This one is in the Fashion Valley Mall in San Diego, and inside it you are regaled with Surface tablets, other Windows 8 tablets, some laptops, Xboxes et al.

The Surface did seem gorgeous. Full-screen Metro apps were great on it. Until you clicked on Office, and were thrown into the desktop.

Anyone who has seen my recent facebook posts will know how disappointed I am with Windows 8. The UX on it is dreadful. But the shop was kind-of cool!
