Some very minor road works in the village of Newton had required a set of traffic lights, which in turn were causing a tailback of over two miles. As I sat in the queue, I noticed this tree in a field just off the road. So I pulled onto the verge, walked back a hundred yards or so to get the best angle, and snapped this one.

Then back to the jam… well, at least I had one of the day’s tasks knocked on the head!
