2013-12-08 (Day 342) Dykes Platform

Dykes Platform is a new plaform that has been built at the side of the River Forth in Stirling for disabled anglers. I only found it by mistake today, when I went a little way off the beaten track to try to find a better view of the Wallace Monument.

However, with the River being vastly swollen by the recent rains, I took this picture instead.

As I look at it more closely to post it, it almost looks as if there is an oily scum on the surface – but that’s not the case. I think that the mis-colouration is just a side-effect of the processing on the picture; the River is beautifully clear here!
