The Alhambra Theatre was built in 1922, and over the years has served Dunfermline as a theatre, cinema, bingo hall and is now a theatre once again. It boasts the fourth-largest stage in Scotland, and sits well over 1,000 – hardly what you would think from such a small frontage..Tonight Marie and I were there to enjoy Calendar Girls by Limelight Productions. Having photographed the dress rehearsal I knew what to expect, but it was lovely to be able to sit back and enjoy the play…It’s on tomorrow (Saturday) night too, and well worth an evening out!.
