The Barras. One of Glasgow’s landmarks. A (mostly indoor) market – and above the market stalls, the Barrowland Ballroom, one of Scotland’s top concert venues. Out front, this apparently world-famous neon sign…Today wasn’t a switch-the-sign-on, get-your-glad-rags-on kind of day. Today was much more a working day. Today the Barrowland Ballroom hosted a rehearsal for the Commonwealth Games. I’m not allowed to tell you what we did in there, but you’ll get to see it soon enough!
