I found myself having to go over the hill from Linlithgow north to Bo’ness today, in order to pick up some high-quality cycling equipment from Lidl.

Right at the top of the hill is the West Lothian Golf Club. This hole – I don’t know the number – is right beside the overflow car park for the club. The photograph shows only part of the view, which stretches from Stirling and Ben Ledi in the west to the Forth Bridges to the east.

Beautiful in the summer time, I suspect it may just be a little bit chilly up there in winter!
