Our short break over, it was time to come home. We made a few stops in the way back – we had an ice cream at Callander, we went into the amazing hydro-electric power station underneath the mountain at Ben Cruachan, and our first stop was here at Aird’s Bay on Loch Etive.
We took the photo from a pier, which was being used by kayakers as a launching point to let them explore the Loch. On one side of them, a group of ten or so cattle. On the other, this lady. Maybe she had fallen out with the others. Maybe she had voted a different way in the referendum! Maybe she was just enjoying a moment of peace and solitude… who knows!.
