I went for lunch today with a colleague. Luckily, the rain held off as we went from and to the restaurant – I had been rather foolish and hadn’t worn a jacket. As we sat in the cafe watching the rain fall outside I was somewhat nervous, but the rain stopped by the time to go back to the car.

On the way we came across this “wild flower meadow” just beside the park. A riot of colour, it looked really pretty and a great contrast to the drab, dreich day!
