
This is the Roman Bridge at Strathclyde Park.
Well, of course, it’s not really Roman. It is probably mediaeval, but it may well have been the site of a genuinely Roman bridge. Bothwellhaugh Fort sits is just above this bridge, and there is a genuine Roman bathhouse nearby.
Anyway, it’s in Strathclyde Park, which is a pretty place.
Today I learned that when one is wanting to take a photo, then no matter what the perceived time pressure one should not run down a muddy slope to get to a ggood vantage point. No, I didn’t fall, but I came close…
