I came home from work by way of Bo’ness today, to catch a view of the construction of the new Forth crossing at Queenferry.
There, I noticed that the brambles are ripening nicely, and that some of them are even ready for picking.
I wonder whether seaside brambles taste more salty than the inland variety (Bo’ness used to have salt pans, so the water is definitely still salty at this point)?
