2016-03-18 (Day 078) Rave Run – Cockleroy

Another Friday, another Rave Run photograph. This time we are at the top of Cockleroy, looking north west towards Grangemouth.

Cockleroy (278m) means “the king’s hill”, and is apparently a bronze-age hill fort. That would make sense, because it commands a spectacular view across the Forth valley and beyond.

I was using the “Canon Connect” software, which uses wifi to allow the user to control the camera remotely – but the range is terribly limited. I had hoped to be rather more distant in this photograph!
