When I started my project365s, I was passing the Forth bridges every working day. I planned to take photos of the new bridge being built every day, and make some kind of time-lapse video of its construction.

Things didn’t work out that way, of course, and now I am only near the bridges very infrequently.

So, today I shifted myself over to South Queensferry. Initially I planned to go for a run, but the weather didn’t suit – so instead I wandered around to grab some pictures.

Here we can see the new G£1.3 bridge – the Queensferry Crossing – with some of the roadway in place. Pieces are gradually being lifted onto the bridge to extend the road to complete the crossing.
