This photograph is taken from the ramparts of Stirling Castle, looking north towards the Wallace Monument.
The white and red line running from right-hand-side about 1/4 of the way up towards the slightly higher left hand side is the Edinburgh – Dunblane train. You can see Stirling Bridge, lit by an unpleasantly bright amber light. There is one large black area where Stirling Rugby Club plays, and another – just below the Monument – that is Abbey Craig.
Towering over the city is, of course, the National Wallace Monument itself.
