I was in Galashiels today and went for a planned seven mile run as part of my #marathontraining

All was going well until I got to the six-mile point of the run, where I was due to cross a bridge. Unfortunately, the bridge was closed to allow BT Openrach to install fibre. So I had to turn back the way I had come, and my seven mile run became a nine miler.

It was on this stretch that I stopped to take this photo of the falling snow.

I’ll be honest – I’ve run in better conditions!
