2019-09-26 (Day 269) SCSI

It’s amazing how quickly old computer standards die. This is a SCSI card, which I bought from a vendor on eBay to go with the negative scanner I recently picked up.

I have an old PC in the garage, which has PCI slots. But it turns out that support for this card is no longer included by default in the Linux kernel, so I’m going to have to go and recompile the kernel with appropriate support compiled in.

Nothing’s ever straightforward!
