I’ve photographed the view from this location before, and I make no apology for doing so again. And I’m sure I will take photos from here in the future too.

The location is the overflow car park of the West Lothian golf club, and the view it affords over the Forth Valley is just amazing. I’m going to claim that it is the finest viewpoint for the Forth Valley on the southern side of the river – if anyone knows a better one then please let me know!

Normally I would photograph a view looking upstream, i.e. west, but this time I chose to look east instead towards the Forth Bridges.

I could spend ages here just taking in the scenery. Almost enough to make me want to learn to play golf!
