I was going through Linlithgow today and noticed these thistle statues – indeed they were hard to miss! But they hadn’t been there when last I was in the town.

Turns out that they were installed on 14-Jun. Paid for by Pubwatch, they were desifned and made by Kevinb Hope of Granfab Ltd, a steel fabricator in Bo’ness.

They really do stand out, and provide a centrepiece for a very attractive garden on the high street.
